Hi!
I created the eQSL system in 1998 as one of the first of many new Internet exchanges. We were one of the first to integrate PayPal into an online payment system and pioneered online real-time graphics generation.
I earned my Novice license in 1971, my Advanced Class in 1972,and Extra Class in 1973. I built several Heathkits, including an HW-16 and an HW-101. I have operated CW, SSB, SSTV, Packet, PSK31, and many satellites starting with Oscar 6.

Aside from ham radio, Scuba diving, and beekeeping, one of the passions I''ve had since childhood was flying. Here is my current airplane, a 1968 Mooney M20C with a glass cockpit and several speed modifications.
The cockpit of my airplane at about 8000 feet above sea level on a recent flight. Small airplanes can now have glass cockpits, color displays, super accurate GPS, and onboard real-time weather and traffic depiction.
I started flying in 1983. This is my son with me on a flight back then. He now works for Microsoft!
I love taking people flying with me. Here is one of my employees from another business with her boyfriend about to go on a sightseeing tour around East Texas.
A frame out of one of the 6 hives I had at my ranch in Paris TX. In the center you can see capped brood, new bees that spend a few days growing before they chew away the wax cap and emerge. Around the corners you can see capped honey stores.
I earned my PADi Master Scuba Diver certification in Hawaii and have been diving mostly around the Caribbean and in the cenotes on the Yucatan peninsula. I have been wreck diving and dove with manta rays. I even searched for Atocha treasure w/ Mel Fisher.
