Support - German » hoch geladene ADIF-Datei im Outlog koplett löschen? Sep 25, 2021 11:46 AM (Total replies: 0)

Sorry, I accidentally loaded DK0HAT's ADIF file into my DF3XZ log. Is there any way to delete all of these more than 900 QSOs in the out-box? Not all of them individually, but maybe by uploading the file again and delete all entries? Or is there another way?

Satellites » Upload problem Apr 18, 2006 08:47 AM (Total replies: 7)

I do have the same problem with my sat QSOs, mostly they are counted as direct contacts which is totally wrong. But I guess solving the problem is simple: The uploaded ADIF-File must contain the adif-field <SAT_NAME:5> to show which satelite was operated, not only the uploadfrequency as it is required now. Little bit helpful could be to upload both - up- and downloadfrequency, but that could also be a crossband QSO. The best way is to require the SAT_Name field for sat-QSOs.
You cannot find out if a great distance 2m QSO was done via satellite only looking after the gridsquares, calculating the distance. Such a QSO can be made via meteor scatter or moon bounce for instance.

Getting more eQSLs » Increasing the percentage of Eqsl Return ? Apr 16, 2006 04:36 AM (Total replies: 41)

My return rate of eQSL is indeed also very poor and I would require a higher rate. Even from my QSOs from Zimbabwe the backrate is extremely poor:

DF3XZ (home) out 9306 - Archieve 638
Z2/DF3XZ 1991 out 768 - Archieve 19 !!!
Z2/DF3XZ 1997 out 2436 - Archieve 158 !!!
Z2/DF3XZ 1999 out 768 - Archieve 52

Additional many of the cards have no authentity status so that they are not valid for anything at all. The work of hacking the old paper logs into an electronic log programm took me a lot of time - slowly I ask me for what or whom I made this work, when the interests in eQSLs is so poor. No chance for me to ever receive the was- or waz-award under such circumstances.
