Hi Ben
I sympathise... one a brief business trip to south Wales, I stopped in the Newport Wetlands Nature Reserve (WFF reference and lighthouse) and somehow bagged ZL and P49 contacts
These are uniques for me, but sadly they don't help my (main call) totals...

Ben, to echo what David has said...
The UK is made up of 7 DXCC entities... G (England), GD (Isle of Mann), GI (N.Ireland), GJ (Jersey), GM (Scotland), SU (Guernsey) and GW (Wales)
For eDX etc each DXCC entity is treated seperately.
The special calls GR, GQ, GO are a bit confusing, and will apply to the DXCC that the operator has defined them to be...!
