Thanks for the information Andy....it helped a great deal. I have never looked at that log. Seems that I entered him, W8GNM, twice....once as /8 and once without the /8...same contact. He was working from an island I think. So I deleted the /8 entry and will let things ride. When I look at logs and records I often think "Now why did I do that?" I'm still learning how to use the site...and like it. Just wish more people would use it. Thanks again and 73 George WA0FSE WA0FSE George Scott

Can one edit his/her log? I suspect not but how does one correct errors. I have a window pop up after my last upload that says From: W8GNM and then gives the specifics of a contact. Then there are a number of check boxes the first is checked and says "Notify W8GNM by email" and the choice "Not found in my log" is checked. Well W8GNM is in my log but as W8GNM/8. Is the /8 a problem.....or is this window telling me W8GNM does not have me in his log. Ihope I explined this adequately... George WA0FSE WA0FSE George Scott |
