I can now close this and just in case someone has the same issue let others know what the issue was!

A few weeks ago ago I decided to change the password for eQSL, I typically use the auto generated passwords in Firefox browser and noted that I had symbols such as ; and > plus a few others in the password so I changed the password wondering if the ; or > symbol was doing something to the script in Linux when contacting eQSL?

After changing the password it now works fine and sends eQSL's OK. I still have some symbols in there such as brackets, not entirely sure the problem was in the password, or if a function within Ubuntu 24.04. I am sure some with programming skills could work it out, I am just glad it is working.

I would appreciate any input on this, I have tried changing Home QTH to just Home in both eQSL and FLDIGI in case it did not like the space, still get the same error.

I have not yet gone for Authenticity Guaranteed as unless I get this type of thing working there is not a lot of point.

Is there any tests I could do from another Linux package perhaps?

Cheers

I am new to eQSL so perhaps I have missed something in the program or there is something extra I need to do within eQSL.cc, and my grey cells are too old to figure?

When I press the log QSO button withing FLDIGI I get a pop up message that says:-

" eQSL Error:testing .2.3Error: No match on eQSL_User
http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/importADIF.cf "

Within FLDIGI settings I have: -
www url as http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/importADIF.cfm?ADIFdata= This is default
User ID G8UGD
Password same as logs me in eQSL
QTH Nickname is set to Home QTH same as in eQSL

If anyone can assist me in getting this working I would be grateful.

Cheers
Adrian
