OK, Thanks...still just trying to figure stuff out. It looks like the "special call"/"special prefix" may be the reason these countries don't show up.

Again, thanks for your help.

OK, I'm kinda slow, but maybe I figured out the problem......If a QSO is marked in my log as "QSL sent" and "QSL received", does it show up in the out box, once the file is uploaded? It doesn't look like it does. I thought that all QSO's showed up there, but maybe not.

Kingman Reef was one in question. The out box does not list Kingman, but when I do a search on K5K all of the contacts are there...

I'm still not sure, but maybe someone can enlighten me...it's kinda dark in here...

Thanks,
Rich

I am talking about just counting the countries listed in my uploaded log/outgoing box right after uploading...Not the confirmed country count...these are countries I have worked, not confirmed. It looks to be 40 or 50 countries different...maybe there is something I missed about the upload process, but I am assuming that if I logged it and uploaded the log, it should be in the out box. Is this a correct assumption?

Thanks,
Rich

Hi Dave,

I have been a member of eQSL for a while, but just uploaded my log for the first time last night. I noticed that my country count was much smaller than shown in my home log program. It looks like this is related to "special call signs", many of which are assigned to DXpeditions. I wonder if there is a way to include these call signs in the data base, so that they are credited to the correct country...This may require way too much research...but it made a huge difference in my country count.

Anyway, I think the site is great and I am looking forward to using it more in the future.

Thanks,
Rich
