Category Question Answer
QTH What is the Nickname in my profile? When an eQSL is uploaded or imported, the only way we have to knowing the correct recipient is by looking at the Callsign and QSO Date/Time. These are the only fields in ADIF we can rely upon always receiving. Thus, there cannot be more than one account in our system having the same callsign and effective start/end date range, otherwise we will not be able to deliver the eQSL to the proper recipient. When you operate portable or mobile, it is preferred that you use /P /5 /M or whatever is the appropriate suffix to indicate that the operation is away from your home QTH. By doing so, you prevent any overlapping of callsign+date/time and allow us to deliver the eQSL to the proper QTH account. If you have multiple attached accounts with the same callsign and different date/time ranges, you can give each one a Nickname, and this makes it easier to log into the proper account. It also makes it possible for you to indicate which account you want your logger to upload ADIF logs into, by specifying the Callsign + Nickname. Nickname can be up to 20 characters long and can contain alpha and numeric characters, and spaces.
