Ok so why not let it run the same time as any ARRL/CQ contest using the same settings as those do. 1: Then the software is already made and available, even free stuff. 2: Would be able to participate in both. the ARRL/CQ and the eQSL contest's and no one would be the wiser. 3: ONLY downside... if run as stated above would have to be sure to send in ur logs even if for only a check log for ARRL/CQ so people don't get DQ'ed making all those unknown contacts.
Just an idea..

My schedule is too erratic to check into a net. A contest, that would be fine with me.
Just make regular contacts during any contest. Upload a log to here. All of us confirm our contacts posted here.
No special QSO info. That way we don't have to learn yet another contest exchange format.
I would suggest the confirm software here check our logs for AG, type of account, etc. but I don't know if that is already available or too much to code.
