I would like to ask a question - why do not QPSK QSOs count to PSK award?

Milosh,
How are you entering your QPSK mode? It must be QPSK31, QPSK63 or QPSK125. Also, what is the difference between PSK and QPSK?

Andy,
I use Ham Radio DeLuxe software and I upload records from its logbook to eQsl.cc. Most of my QPSK QSOs are QPSK63 - this mode is used in some contests. I do not know all the details, but the main difference is that in common PSK (BPSK) there are two possible phase shifts (0 and 180 degrees) and in QPSK mode there are four (0, 90, 180, 270). The extra bit of information is used for error correcting. In QPSK mode both stations must use the same sideband (USB on all bands). In PSK it does not matter, but people use USB anyway.
I noticed that eQsl service counts my QPSK QSOs to ePFX Award, but not to ePFX PSK.

Thanks for the information about QPSK Milosh. I suggest you use the 'Help!' link above to contact the administrators of the site to see if they will combine both the PSK and QPSK modes for the ePFX award as well as other eAwards.
Good Luck and 73!
