For the last couple of years, I would download and save to my computer, my incoming qsls. The would download as .jpg files. In recent weeks, all cards are downloading as .png files. I've not made any changes on my end...any idea why this is happening?? Dave WB4IUY www.WB4IUY.net WB4IUY Dave Hockaday http://www.WB4IUY.net http://www.2vuLcans.net http://www.TEARA.org

Dave, Go to the 'My Profile' page, scroll down to Advanced Features and check the box that says 'Display all eQSLs in JPG format instead of PNG'. Then you should be all set. 73

I changed the image file format. That didn't help.
I use HRD Utilities and it times out after about 30 seconds.
It takes eQSL about 49 seconds to generate my ADIF file of about 3000+ QSOs to download. (I have measured it many times at weeks and months apart.)
So, is HRD Utilities too fast or eQSL too slow?

HRD Utilities has two major bugs.
- One bug is that the program does not handle multiple eQSL accounts (this is documented by the author) - A second, more serious bug, is that the program will not handle a large ADIF file such as yours.
The author of the program has been contacted several times but he has not responded in over 6 months - I suspect he has other priorities at the present time.
I've run packet traces on this issue and the problem is with HRD Utilities not with the eQSL system.
