Why not establish some hailing frequencies on a few of the bands that we can monitor or call CQ on?

Hi James I hope if your idea does get acted on, we dont pick 3760,7060,14260 etc everyone else has used those from Summits on the Air right through to an new Emergency comms Fx. May I suggest we just call 'cq eqsl' where ever we find a clear patch, those that know will respond and hopefully those that dont, will enquire what we are on about. hey we could be on a commision here for the number of new stations we get to sign up!! What about a free e qsl car sticker for every 10 we hook (Only joking guys)

There was a thread about a net in one of the other topics, but it seems to have died. It sounded like a good idea at the time.
It is tough to pick an exact spot with all the other groups, modes, and/or nets on the air now that have tried to claim a frequency as their own.
If we can find someone to run a net this would be a way to get more contacts.

Thanks for the reply Jon and Dan, I just thought that it would be great to have specific frequencies established so that while I'm setting here doing other things I could have the radio on and listen for CQ e-QSL calls.

I'll suggest the following and monitor these frequencies, I hope I can work some e-QSL users, basically I'm suggesting the first 80 KHz freq above the bottom of the General band:
3.880 7.180 14.280 21.280 28.380
If someone want's to suggest some CW frequencies I'll meet you there for a QSO and an e-QSL.

Hi Dan:
Nets are good, I just thought it would be nice to have a frequency that I (we) could monitor while sitting here at the computer or reading that other e-QSL users could use to call "CQ eQSL" on. I hope I catch you on the air one of these days for a chat and an e-card.

Great idea! I think I'll jump on 15 and 20 here in a few minutes and do just that!
