Hi Paul,

I think I already answered this question years ago, but I can't find it here..only my 20 last posts
It depends on the font size you chose in your eqsl design. I seem to remember that you can reach 220 characters or more (240 ?)...if you choose a small font size (8 or less).....and if you let enough space below you qso details box.. the line can fold back at least once, maybe twice, I did not try

Hi there Guy.
Thanks for the information, however what I needed was the max amount of letters / words in the main
message when sending a e-qsl to a station I heard, not setting up a qsl card.
Look forward to a reply.

Paul

Hi Paul,
Sorry then, I thought you were asking how many letters you could put in the comment line ?...
and I sent you my swl EQSL card as an example of 239 displayed characters on 3 lines

- the short answer is : 240

- NOW ! if you want them actually DISPLAYED on your EQSL card, you'd better choose the smallest font (8) and not bank the details box to the bottom line, but a little above

Thanks Guy.
Received your card and info, my card set up is for small font so I should get enough on there.
