Are there plans on supporting FT8 as a valid digital mode? This is a new mode just released by WSJT-X in version 1.8.0 and appears to be gaining momentum quickly.

Add my name to those requesting the ability to log FT8.... I tried it today and it is definitely a keeper. QRZ logs it as FT8 as does HRDLog. Clublog (as posted elsewhere) logs it under the general category of "Data". You can beat LOTW if you act quickly ;)
Thanks!

I tried it too. At least could you create a general "DATA" mode as LOTW did, since there is a new digital mode every month now....T10, FT8......aso
Thanks
Add:
Now, I have uploaded all my qso's as FT8 in eQSL and DATA in LOTW ??? When LOTW accepts FT8, I will upload again as FT8 and it should be modified ?...

FT8 I think is here to stay based on the amount of activity I have witnessed over last 2 days alone makes it hard to believe it will not remain a viable and very active mode for a long time. I surely hope eQSL allows the FT8 mode and quickly as my "unacceptable mode" log is ever growing exponentially.
Might as well consider various awards as well for the mode, because I truly have a hard time believing it will not be as popular, or more so than JT65/9 modes.

I did some quick checking and FT8 has made it to the official "proposals" phase of the ADIF.org council.
Since eQSL and LotW only accept what is in the "official" ADIF specification list it will not be added until the ADIF.org council approves it. HOWEVER, the good news is, that it appears to have been fast tracked to the proposals phase and while it may take a few more weeks to get it through and approved I think it will be "official" very soon. ~Here's hoping with fingers crossed.~

I just learned about FT8 last night. Downloaded it to my raspberry pi this morning. WHAT FUN!!!!!!! (until I tried to log it that is!).
Oh, well, hope this is FAST tracked. When it does get supported by eqsl and other logging db's -- listen to the WHOOOSH of uploading data coming from me!!
Woot!

I hope eQSL starts accepting FT8 QSOs.

FT8 is now a valid mode via eQSL. However at this time it doesn't count toward any awards. Hope this is updated soon.
