As of 8/11/2019 my adif file upload rejected. The same adif file accepted by LotW Clublog QRZ.COM logbook. What going on @eQSL?

Everything is working flawlessly at the moment, there have been thousands of uploads on 8/11/2019. Nobody else complained ???......so far.. What's going on with your upload ? Hard to say..... Did you check your eqsl settings in your logger ? callsign account nickname account password .........NOTE : nickname and password are case sensitive or maybe you uploaded an adif file from the upload menu ? Send us your adif file so that we can check ? Support1@eQSL.cc Just one thing changed recently : (as of 08/10/2019) Quote: I have removed the background uploader, and the FAST Uploader is now the only one used for batch file uploads. The Real-Time ImportADIF is still available for loggers. Edited by F6DKQ Guy FALCOZ on Aug 15, 2019 at 05:56 AM

Hi Thanks for quick advice. In my case, NOTHING was changed on my eQSL setting. Once noted new uploader available but there was an option also given and was no problem with upload. But 6 hours ago, no option but just fast upload. And eQSL returned not valid adif file. In my local, some had no problem using Hamlog logger but some had same problem as mine using Hamlog logger. The friend had OK with LotW Clublog but eQSL. I will go back to my shack and see what I can see now. Thanks again. Chuck

The reason is that the background mode is no longer necessary :
Dave N5UP tolds us :
The slowest it ever runs is about 70 records per second, and as high as 293 records per second. One user uploaded a 45,698 record file in under 9 minutes.
N3WG Hamlog ? I can't test it myself, my smartphone is under an Android OS Maybe someone here will drop an advice

I emailed to support1@eqsl.cc the adif file at issue. Please note the same adif file works with LotW Clublog QRZ logbook but eQSL. I had report of same problem from local using same Hamlog logger while some also using same Hamlog logger had no problem. Not sure why the difference among them. I updated my Hamlog to the latest version but the same problem. I hope I do not stepping into debugging work.

Why not restore background uploader for now to make everyone life easier??? JA1EPJ Chuck S. KohariEdited by F6DKQ Guy FALCOZ on Aug 12, 2019 at 08:02 AM

I could upload your adif file from the "upload" menu in your account :
Step #2 - Import Log into Database 07:48:33Z
Step #2 - Import Log into Database finished 07:48:33Z
13 log entries were added out of 13 uploaded 13.0 records processed per second
Logger identified as: Turbo HAMLOG/Win
Maybe your logger is waiting for certain text strings...and they changed with the new simplified upload

Big Question:
If you are having troubles uploading, how are you doing it?
Do you Export ADIF file from logger and then Upload file manually in eQSL.cc web site?
OR
Upload directly from logger?
Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

Appreciate advice by all. The upload issue was after all identified as browser compatibility. Somehow MS IE in Wins10 Japanese version causes eQSL Fast Uploader to return NO VALID ADIF file. So far other browsers such as Mac Safari, Chrome, etc are Okay. I already switched to Chrome and enjoy Fast upload. But as an insurance, eQSL kindly provided old uploader FOR NOW. Many Japanese folks here were saved by this old uploader who now realize need of update their browser. 73 & GL Chuck

FYI, surprisingly the same reaction & confusion reported to me by JA eQSL users. All at a loss his adif file all over sudden rejected by eQSL (fast uploader) while they see no problem with LotW Clublog QRZ logbook. This would be quite natural and fare reaction. They do not know what to do and prompted to give up eQSL as they have LotW Clublog QRZ logbook. Note: No complaint does not mean No problem. Very few JA folks with ability for immediate claim in English.
Obviously many JA folks using MS Wins10 + IE of Japanese version, and seems it causing this crisis of browser compatibility issue. Was it ever tested by eQSL??? Not sure if it same with English version. JA folks happened to use other such as Chrome Safari Edge were lucky, they did not even notice there was problem. My comment is based on limited reactions reports in JA1 area, What crisis might be in whole JA1-JA0??
I see now it was somehow lucky decision by eQSL to provide Old Slow Uploader that saved many JA folks who might not know what to do and quit eQSL I now strongly recommend eQSL continues to retain this option until eQSL MAKE SURE NO PROBLEM (not no complaint) with all Japanese eQSL lovers.
GL Chuck
