The Confirm and Reject Icons have disappeared from Inbox and Archive. Now I cannot tell, wether an incoming eQSL is valid or not and cannot confirm SWL QSLs. What has happened?

Nothing..

If you don't have the red/green buttons, the QSO is confirmed

There's nothing in your inbox currently

But I had a look at your archive and a few qso's do have the buttons :
