I have been a silver member for the past 4 or 5 years and would like to upgrade to silver +. My silver membership expired earlier this year, but when trying to upgrade to silver + I learned that it would only be by setting a recurring $5.00 a month payment on either my PayPal or my credit card.

I do not like, nor do I enter into any financial agreement that involves recurring charges. I pay the entire amount, up front. It would be nice to see the choice be made available to us. I contacted N5UP, Dave and he said he would think it over.

I know that I am not the only person in the world who refrains from recurring charges. One (of several) good reasons is that I'm up in years and when I pass on my heirs would be faced with shutting it down.

Anyway, this is the first time that I have run into a situation where I can't give someone some money! Hi Hi! I know that the recurring charges 'format' has been set up in order to attract 'newbies' but some, like myself, are lost in the shuffle because of it. I wonder how many 'newbies' would refuse to join because there was an option to pay it all at once.??

Just a thought. In the mean time, I find that eQSL has been serving me well for the past 15 or more years and I like it and appreciate it. Keep up the good work, Dave, etal, I will continue to use the free service. Thanks to Dave and all the volunteers!
