HI ALL It's nice to know how and when... especially for the REALTIME HTM part, which doesn't yet work properly for FT2. I already have about 400 QSOs in FT2 and I don't know how to log them on eQSL... it looks like this will become a feature everyone will use. A few days after its release, there are already 15,000 FT2 contacts displayed on PSKreporter! P.S. Adjusting my LOG and real-time import/export configuration only took me 5 minutes... on my wlog2000, the longest part was simply turning on the PC ?? Hi,
Not yet....
It will take another two weeks before the final publication, the adif developper group has to discuss about the new specs (not only FT2), then vote ......then you'll find a new 3.1.7 version in adif.org.
The mode will be MFSK, almost sure. But there are still discussions about the submode FT2 or MM2 ?
Generally, logger developpers, LOTW, EQSL etc wait for this announcement before implementing it. So, does mine, SWISSLOG
I don't think it's advisable to upload qso's now. Of course, eqsl can accept "MFSK/FT2" since anything behind MFSK is accepted. LOTW will only accept a generic "DATA"........
I have tested it with a hundred qso's but will keep to FT8, much more effective on weak signals, DX.........will use it for special events, callsigns where the number matters.
add: there are now 2 programs using this mode :
- decodium uses a FT2 mode - WSJT-x improved v 3.1.0 uses mode : MFSK, submode : FT2
and maybe both will have to change to MFSK/MM2
