Msg. 1 of 12
Whilst attempting to use the ARRL LoTW to validate my AG status, I continually receive the "Difficulty Connecting to ARRL" message, inviting me to try later.
I have been trying later now for over a week....
Is there a problem with the pipeline to the ARRL?
For the record - I use Mozilla Firefox, but I have the same issue with msie at the office.
There was a problem uploading logs with Firefox, I have yet to upload the latest logs to see if that has been resolved.
Regards,
Phil MJ0JER

I have encountered the same problem over the past two days. I gave up, and submitted an image of my license. I was able to log in to LoTW during that time.
I am using Bon Echo v 2.0.0.2 running under Fedora Core 4.
I also noticed that the userid/password submission for AG did not use a secure socket -- at least it seemed that way. The ARRL LoTW login page does use a secure connection.
Cheers,

I have been encountering the same problem trying to log into ARRL to become AG via LOTW. There seems to be a problem with their site I suspect. I will scan my license in to get qualified.

Well, guys, it obviously isn't a point of interest to the eQSL folks, at any rate, since they have not even bothered to reply.

Same here. I've been trying every day to use the LoTW authentication method, and it always says that it is having difficulty connecting to the ARRL server.

I have been trying as well. eQSL doesn't care, they just want to brag about all the users and QSO's uploaded to their site.

I'm not familiar with the AG confirmation via the LOTW meathod, I found it was so much easier to just scan in a copy of my lisence and email the jpeg (.jpg) file. If you don't have a scanner, I'm sure another nearby ham does and would be willing to help you. I'ts not fair to say eQSL doesn't care. They provide a service that no one else does, and I'm sure they work hard just to maintain it. 73 Andy - n1ork

It does not work. It will not work. and from the looks of some of these ancient posts which have not been responded to in over 3 years, I would just say dont hold your breath.

I have also been trying to use the LOtW option, for over a month now, but it just won't work. I would think it to be a problem on the programming side of things...

It worked for me after about 3 weeks of trying.
But I also had other windows open to my LotW log at the same time.

I uploaded 5 QSOs from our club station (K9OEM) to LOTW today. It took 2 hours to process before I could download the results back to ACLog. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes, but each time the 'Logbook Activity Record' message says it only took 0.2 seconds or so to process: "Successfully processed 5 QSO records in 0.260135 seconds"
What gives?
