Hi all,
I’m keen to work via Sats, but don't want blunder into this without all the knowledge available,
What do I need to get started? What equipment?
I do however have:
Radio’s FT857 and IC-E92d,
Antenna’s, collinear, G5RV and homebrew 5el 2mtr beam,
Home and laptop p.c both with HRD Inc the Sat tracking program and rig control for Doppler shift,
Any advice on operating practice and further equipment required would be great,
Many thanks for taking the time to read this newbie question

There is an excellent article by N1ASA (SK) at http://www.wku.edu/ksgc/sats.pdf that will tell you all you need to know to get started.
