I would like to take my HT & Arrow antenna on the road and make satellite contacts from locations other than my home grid of EM77. I'm not sure how to log my temporary locations. Will I need an eqsl account for each grid that I operate from?

Yes Eddie, I believe that if you work from a different county or grid square, you may need to add another account for that area. This may only apply to US or North American contacts that are chasing states, grid squares or counties. It may make no difference for DX contacts unless you are in Alaska or Hawaii. 73 & Good Luck! Thanks Andy. I kind of thought that this was the correct approach but its good to have someone confirm it for me.
Thanks again & 73, Eddie kf4zmt

Why make another account, just change you location for the contacts you made from that grid square.

Kevin, I don't think you can change your grid location any time you want. eQSL cards are generated at the time someone displays them. If you change your grid, someone may display one of your eQSLs from before and they will see the wrong grid. Also, if you operate out of your county, you can't change the county without making a new account. The county is based on your mailing address. It's not that much trouble to make a new attached account with a basic eQSL design. 73 Andy - n1ork
