Cosimo, Did you email via ve3ebn@rac.ca? Maybe he is SK? It's too bad he isn't more active on eQSL. Good Luck, Andy - n1ork

And he's not the only one.
I've joined eqsl just a week ago and i don't understand why people become members here when they don't have the intention of answering any qsl's.
Is that hamspirit when you just think about yourself?
I think the webmaster should create a "blacklist"!!!

Be patient, Anders. I work lots of stations who only upload their logs to eQSL once a month.

Being used to wait years for cards via bureau and now getting cards within one month is a lucky thing to me . But as Reed stated many do their upload only once a month or even once in 6 months , as i found out looking to my records . And some joined eQSL in the past but do not use it anymore , unfortunately they never closed the account and eQSL does not remove them automatically after a period of inactivity - and so thousands are waiting for reply forever . 73 Uli member of DARC , DOK M10 ( Grömitz ) EPC #2025 , 30MDG#0643 http://www.mydarc.de/dg7lae

Patient? What's patient? If i had been patient would have used the bureau, not eqsl. if I want to watch the trees i'm going to walk, otherwise i use my car! 73 de Cosimo IW5ELL

Cosimo, I wish more Hams were like you. If they were, I would have had my eDX100 along time ago! We just need to encourage more Hams to use eQSL.cc. 73 Andy - n1ork N1ORK Orest 'Andy' Zajac

Hi Andy, my last two "goals" was SV5DZR and 7X5AV, I wrote them for months, now they are AG members, and I've upgraded my eDX100 to 150 countries! :)
Now i have about twelve very difficult to convince, i hope!

I send personal emails to non-AG , not the standard what eQSL does provide but a personal wish to join for AG , and yes , at least 50 % then became AG - members . But as stated in a different topic , I would like to see AG as recommended in general for using eQSL and often people simply are not aware , I think eQSL does not really point people to the fact , may be fearing some will shy away . I say : better to have 500 active than 5000 registed not using the system in any way - brings nothing but frustrating to those keen to use eQSL . 73 Uli member of DARC , DOK M10 ( Grömitz ) EPC #2025 , 30MDG#0643 http://www.mydarc.de/dg7lae

Uli, you're right, i do the same! First eQSL from many AG members from rare countries is mine! If i need the country, i wrote a lot of emails; i have China, Egypt since 2005, Iran, Algeria, Turkey, Burkina, Djibouti, Dodecanese, and most other countries obtained in this manner! 73 de Cosimo IW5ELL

Hi Cosimo,
waiting for incoming Qsl's can take a while even here at eqsl, but we should be thankfull we had such a good service online. I know from myself that many user of eqsl do not reply to cards because is not valid for ARRL DXCC and also some hams does not use eqsl anymore. They are still in the system it would be better to set a limit of one year of inactive but this must eqsl decide.
Your cards will come, we all must be patience.

Hi Anne,
all ok, i know, i'm also lotw user. If the interest is only DXCC, why AG member on eqsl?
Sometimes i call "cq eqsl" or "cq lotw" and sometimes i receive "please qsl via bureau":
Hey OM, what's you not understand about these two word: cq eqsl?
IMHO eqsl or lotw users should be active with some regularity, otherwise out: before any reply to cq i check always callsign status, my only interest are electronic confirms!

bona fortuna ad te amicus Cosimo. I am 6 away (already have 160M and general WAS via ARRL, but want it here too, plus the eDX100. It is really great that CQ awards now accept eqsl's - that is a big thing to get more participation and recognition of eQSL. Rich (editor) made a wise choice. SO WAZ, WPX, etc. is within reach in faster time and much less postage. ciao Karl
