The canned reply to sked requests doesn't work for me and it's too much like work to have to enter MY response every time I start a session. Yes, I use Cut and Paste, thanks, but one still has to edit each and every reply, a royal PITA. It seems that storing a personalized response in one's profile that would be automatically inserted would be a useful feature. For example, I would like a canned reply which states that I monitor such-and-such frequencies between certain hours on a regular basis. Because my shack is in the same room as my office, that's easy to accomplish.

But,

At least for use during the requesting process we should be able to store in our profiles types of requests (or none) that can be honored. For example, I haven't an antenna for 160M, I am presently not set up for any digital modes except CW, and I don't operate phone except on the local VHF/UHF repeaters. It would be useful to alert requestors about what bands and modes will be supported at the time they are entering the requests rather than place the burden on the requestees to generate all the replies.

I realize the overhead processing requirements will increase, but I suspect not by much. Annnnd I don't recall ever seeing the Server Load Index above 0 any time I've checked which allows me to surmise there is plenty of reserve. Of course, because the SLI isn't defined except as a dimensionless number, the interpretation of what it's actually showing is wide open.
