Like others on this thread, I love the excitement of going to the mailbox and finding cards and envelopes from distant countries and states... And the really cool stamps are a bonus too! My Log4OM logger is configured to initiate a confirmation to 100% of my contacts via LoTW, QRZ.com, Clublog, and eQSL. Many don't participate in eQSLing, nor have an account with eQSL. That's fine, though. I have received eQSLs for about one out of every three QSOs and that's not bad in my opinion. And it's inexpensive. While eQSL isn't recognized by the ARRL, it really doesn't matter to me, for I also upload and sync to LoTW, QRZ, and Clublog; with each one serves a unique purpose in the world of contact confirmations. eQSL simply gives us another option.
