Getting more eQSLs » Purging inactive members? Jul 13, 2009 08:14 PM (Total replies: 1)

I've been hoping for a few eQSL's for WPX, and for the first time, I clicked on the button for a particular eQSL member to see if eQSL's were waiting. I was shocked to see 4,446 eQSL's waiting for this particular station.

Would it be worthwhile for administrators to notify members if they have unanswered eQSL requests beyond a reasonable length of time (such as 60 or 90 days), and if they aren't willing to answer them or don't respond, lock their account? Do these unanswered requests take up any disk space on the server(s)?

More radically, would it be feasible to list stations that don't respond to requests? I really don't know why they're members in the first place.

My apologies if this suggestion has been raised previously.

Getting more eQSLs » SKEDS Jun 26, 2009 03:34 PM (Total replies: 9)

I just recently opened the Sked Requests page for the first time (I didn't realize it was being populated), and I replied to everybody that requested a sked during the past year. I have also been replying to all new requests.

However, of the hundred or so requests I replied to, I have never received even one followup for a QSO. Does this feature really work? Are the requestors not getting my replies? Are they accidentally requesting skeds in the first place? I'm puzzled.
