Anyone tried to receive / QSO over WSPR? I have installed WSPR 1.01 and tried to receive something on the published frequencies for hours and hours, but all I see on the 'waterfall' diagrams is random noise. I'm using the same proven setup as for RTTY and PSK via the soundcard, but receive no callsign, no nothing... what could it be that I am doing wrong?

Hey Guys, lets be realistic... Ham Radio, after all, involves some kind of electromagnetic radiation and antennas and such. HamSphere and CQ100 and whatever they are called are communication over the Internet, and thus they are connected over wire.
I think we should keep up the original ideas of our hobby. Is anyone afraid of Ham Radio operators becoming an extinct species? If you have listened to the recent pile-ups of FT5GA (just to mention one of many), then you will know, this is definitely not the case.

I uploaded all of my contest logs since about one year. I use the ADIF Export function of my logbook program (Ham Radio Deluxe by HB9DRV), which makes it very easy to generate an ADIF file to upload to eQSL.cc. Many contesters do the same, so this is a very effective way to collect DXCC and Prefix points for the eDX and ePFX300 awards. Within the one year of my membership, I have collected 88 countries and 450+ prefixes. Of course I admit, I am participating (more or less) in contests every weekend, as time permits ... 73s de Roland, DL1EAL
