Hi, I am experiencing this situation the other way round: I get e-mail notification of new cards, but they are not all in my Inbox when I log in on the eQSL site. I suppose this could happen when a HAM deletes his sent card after the e-mail notification was sent? This is rather frustratting after notification of some nice eQSL, and then just find the mnot here :-( Kind regards, Eelco NL10133 Eelco Verkaik

Hi, I fail to understand why so many awards (not only eQSL) are available for SWL's. Being a SWL for thirty (!) years this is quite frustrating. I would like to get your opinion about this. I have the feeling most HAM's consider SWL's as a HAM that was not bright enough to get a HAM license, but I just enjoy listening, just for the sake of it, just becasue of the many exciting and interesting QSO's, just waiting for the bands opening up, just for the gap getting that one rare call... Hi Greg, I got something similar today. I received an eQSL from a station I heard YB0KYM, which is obviously Indonesia, but eQSL stated the country to be the USA which is way off! Best 73's Eelco / NL10133 (SWL) NL10133 Eelco Verkaik

Hi Markus, Could it be that email from eQSL is blocked by a spam filter (for instance Norton Antispam?). If so, you could add eQSL as a "safe sender" somewhere. 73, Eelco NL10133 (SWL) NL10133 Eelco Verkaik

Dear Cosimo, I think for the reply on eQsl goes the same as with ordinary paper QSL, some HAM's reply instantly, others use a one a week or once a month system. My eQSL's go out at the end of the day, my paper QSL via the buro usually once a month of even two months. I think any HAM or SWL for that matter should use the method which they prefer. This can mean a long wait sometimes, as long as the card will arrive I think it's ok. NL10133 Eelco Verkaik |
