OK, thanks Dave
As you can see, I do loads of /portable and /mobile so this is a key issue for me.
If I can be of help, just shout!

Update: all bar the most recent are now showing Gold - thanks.
Today's /portable is still pending its AG so not yet getting "credit" but I'll check back on that one tomorrow.
Thanks for your help... Andrew

Thanks... the latest four were created yesterday :-) To go with the new call-sign...
But thanks. I'll check later!

Just wondered, nearly two years on, if any thought had been given to this?
M6ADB Andrew Banks
For my (ex-)primary account M6ADB I'm a Gold Member
However, when creating a new sub-account, for my latest portable activity, this is not promulgated (retaining Basic account status), meaning (particularly) that I cannot upload my custom eQSL card.
Is this by design or in error?

Just observing that two years on from my last comment, nothing seems to have happened.
It would have been great to launch this ahead of this weekend's IOTA contest... may be we could have a commitment to launch ahead of next year's?

Oh well... I thought it was a good idea.
But clearly no-one reads the suggestion forum...

Resurrecting an old thread, but...
>> Is there a cutoff for what is considered QRP these days
I believe 10W on phone and 5W on CW/data is the usual cutoff
M6ADB Andrew Banks
>> stations are NOT allowed to add /QRP to their callsigns
Graham, I think this is a bit strong... there are the official suffixes (/M, /P, /A, /MM) which are explicitely defined, but AFAICT the rules do not prevent you using any other suffix. In fact, I'm fairly sure any other suffix is allowed, as long as it is not a DXCC entity prefix (and therefore causing confusion)
Quite where that leaves /MM (both a defined suffix, and of course the prefix for Scotland) I'll leave for a seperate debate
Having said that, personally I feel that /QRP is a bit naff :) And your original suggestion is a sound one.

Just wondering, since it's two years since Dave's broad acceptance of the idea, whether anything is hapenning. We've just missed this years IOTA weekend, so we have 50 weeks to prepare for the next one :)
Equally, I like Dave G0CER's idea of a team of Award Managers... I might even be able to volunteer that way!

Well, that was the latest Biggie, the IARU HF Contest
A number of new DXCCs logged, as well as a good number of HQ stations. But having uploaded my log, I see that only a few stations have an eQSL account (let alone an active one) whereas many are LOTW users.
Now, clearly, a contest QSO is not the time to talk about eQSL but does anyone have any suggestions?

In the profile, you can set:
JCC/JCG (Japanese stations only) Prefecture (Japanese stations only) DOK (German stations only) Oblast (if applicable) 10-10 Number (if 10-10 member)
Any chance that (for UK stations) we could have a field for the Worked All Britain (WAB) square. This could also be used for Worked All Ireland (WAI) and Worked All Italian Squares (WAIS) tracking.

I was surprised to see that the DARC list (referenced) gets to 74
So how about: Bronze: 50 worked and confirmed Silver: 60 worked and confirmed Gold: 70 worked and confirmed SuperStar: all 74 worked and confirmed
With band/mode endorsements?

Hi James
Check the START date and END date on the account
Andrew
PS: If this means you've got your 2E, congratulations :)

Hi Andy
Fully agree with everything you say. However this doesn't seem to be working.
The most common response is that "eQSL is pointless as it isn't valid for awards"... therefore eQSL needs to have a bit of carrot to incentivise new users.

There has been much debate about how to get more people to use eQSL, and how to counter the "no eQSL" attitude of many.
This weekend is the CQ-WPX-SSB contest, and as usual, most of the contest stations are "no eQSL".
eQSL already has an agreement with CQ that eQSLs (from AGs) can be used towards CQ's awards... maybe there is scope to develop this relationship further, so how about this as a suggestion to propose to CQ:
- Any QSL within any CQ contest that is confirmed by eQSL (AG) gains an extra point.
There Clearly there are practicalities to resolve, and but it's just an idea?! But I suspect this might be enough of an incentive to many of the contest calls... and I suspect that once people realise how easy it is to eQSL, they might be more inclined to use it

Hi Ben
I have the same problem (now at 25+ accounts) and raised this previously. See http://eqsl.cc/Forums/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=1159
I also emailed Support but was told categorically that this is not possible, and will not be considered.
So its now a case of periodically downloading each account :(

Just wondering if, 15 months on from Andy's last comment, and five years after the first suggestion, whether anything has come of this excellent idea?
But rather than slavishly following the DARC model, how about a European equivalent of WAS, ie 1 point per country (maybe with some intermediate levels), and offered with band/mode endorsements.

I'd love to operate from home more, but conditions are not so good with too much QRM/QRN
And anyway, the hills are lovely at this time of year - what could be better than operating outdoors in -5C and snow (hi hi)
But I'll send it in as a suggestion.
