Problem solved .. A while back I had a problem with eQSL and during that time, fiddling about, I created the account, but it wasn't showing (even as detached) .. I did log into it direct from the login page and gradually sorted things out .. Sorry to have bothered anyone G3XDH Ben Parkes

When I try to create a new account for portable working (GW3XDH/P) for the days I am here (2 October 2012 to 10 October 2012) eqsl says I already have a GW3XDH/P account for "GW3XDH/P Start: 23-May-2012 00:00 End: 23-May-2015 22:59" In my list of accounts I don't have any account for that period .. my most recent GW3XDH/P account is March 2012 How do I get round this .. if I can't find the problem account I can't change it... OK .. fair enough, they are the rules its just that it is a pain if I go a few miles from home over the border into Wales, which in political terms is part of the UK, and pick up new countries/prefixes. they don't count towards 'my' score. as I said, its not MAJOR .. I am not competitive, or a great trophy hunter .. it just niggles that they only count to my personal score when I have got my Welsh / Scottish ... etc hat on Seven Tea Trees G3XDH Ben Parkes

That is basically as I suspected .. but bearing in mind that they are all variants of 'G' .. UK they are in the same country .. and the specials GR, GO, GQ apply to the whole UK and are not subject to the sub area prefix ieg GO (Olympics) does not become GWO in Wales, they really should (My opinion) be considered the same .. and what happens if I go to say Germany and work as DL/G3XDH .. is that counted as another country? Not that it's all that important, just a litttle niggle G3XDH Ben Parkes

I am not a dedicated pot hunter, but I do find it niggling that my callsign variants don't seem to contribute towards 'my' single tally .. As well as G3XDH I have also been GW3XDH GR3XDH and will be GQ3XDH and GO3XDH and quite probably GM3XDH .. eQSL seems to regard these as separate entities and keeps separate 'awards' lists for each G3XDH Ben Parkes Edited by G3XDH Ben Parkes on Mar 21, 2012 at 06:41 PM

I work mostly portable, rarely from the same location more than once, and have many accounts. I would like to be able to display the combined inboxes/archives from all my accounts together, and similarly my outboxes .. Is this possible .. if not, can it be put on a wishlist thanks G3XDH Ben Parkes

When I was even more novice than I am now I created an account with the wrong Maidenhead qth code (last 4 characters ..) there are confirmed QSLs in it so I cant detach it and link a new one .. how can I (or someone) correct it? G3XDH Ben Parkes

I have my 'home' account and was going to create new accounts for my past addresses and portable operations. I did create one but have now changed my mind .. it's just too much trouble partly because I don't seem to be able to overlap dates, so if I work portable I have to put a finish date on my bse QTH account .. open a new one for portable .. and then create a new base account .. life is too short.. how do I get rid of that one I did create before I realised the problems it would make for me G3XDH Ben Parkes |
