I notice that the 4th Generation Home Page no longer includes a link to "ADIF Upload". To get to the upload option, you have to go via one of the other pages. To overcome this, I have changed my profile to use the old, traditional Home Page. 73, Walt (G3NYY) G3NYY Walt Davidson

You do not donate to the postal service, Darin. You PAY the postal service for delivering your card. There is a difference. eQSL does not enforce a subscription; it is voluntary. I choose to contribute, but I don't have to. On the other hand, FT4JA is enforcing payment for his cards if anyone wants to receive them. 73, Walt P.S. There is no justification for making a charge. And eQSL are complicit in this racket by facilitating it. eQSL say they forward all "donations" to the expedition organizers ... I agree with Rimas. I make a donation every year to eQSL. I have also paid for a paper card from FT4JA via OQRS/PayPal. Now I have to pay for an eQSL from FT4JA before it can be used for eAwards. A "donation", by definition, is something that is voluntary. When it becomes compulsory, it is a PAYMENT ... not a donation. I, too, am reconsidering my use of the eQSL service. I have been trying to retrieve my entire ADIF log from the Outbox, but when I click on the link at the bottom of the Outbox page the system just "hangs", saying "Waiting for eqsl.cc" and nothing happens. I gave up waiting after 10 minutes. Does it really take this long to retrieve the ADIF log? Admittedly, my log contains more than 13000 QSOs! 73, Walt (G3NYY) G3NYY Walt Davidson |
