I've seen this before. This is actually a licensed ham and he's used his ham eQSL account to request a "SWL" confirmation. If I do that, I've managed to confirm KH6 for him though we've never worked.
Does anyone think that this is a problem? Given the capabilities of eQSL, it seems rather trivial to actually ring-fence SWL confirmations in such a way that they don't become credit with non-existent QSOs.

OK, first I'm mean spitrited, then I'm mistaken.
Last time -- I received two SWL reports in the same batch/day - one for the HG8- and another from DL-S2121737. The DL- report had the accept/reject box while the HG8- didn't - as I've said all along.
Is this CLEAR enough now?

NOW, we're getting to the real issue! In fact, the HG8's SWL report had NO accept/reject boxes - only the single checkbox that you'd expect from a MATCHED QSO.
When I realized that I had just confirmed a QSO rather than a SWL report, I went in to the ARCHIVE, found and deleted that QSO record.
This is now the 3rd time that I've encountered this issue of a SWL report actually confirming a QSO record in some years of use.

Here's how I believe a SWL problem is occurring:
Instead of having both check marks (accept/reject) on the INBOX entry line, there is only one box which will be automatically checked through the "check all confirmed" process. How can any SWL report be autoimatically confirmed? I didn't work the SWL.
As I see it, all SWL reports must arrive with the accept/reject boxes as I've submitted no matching entry for them.

I tend to deal with SWL requests carefully, and yet (once again), I find a SWL request is actually a request to confirm a QSO! The latest one is HG8-654 and is "Autheticity Guaranteed".
What's the deal here - isn't there some special area to check if the call sign looks like a SWL? How can a SWL call be "AG" checked anyway?
