What is the possiblity of capturing the exact frequencies (from the adif <FREQ:#> field and including it in the database and on eQSL's?

Recently, during a routine inspection of my log this information would help me determine whether I was in "run" or "s&p" mode during a contest. I was investigating a "not in log" error report.

This idea is more for convenience. I can always go back to the original contest log and extract this information. Or maybe the data is already there and I don't know how to view it?

Bob,

The best person to answer this will be the webmaster. But I don't think we capture the information at the moment though I might be wrong.

I guess it doesn't add a lot to an eQSL to have the exact frequency available, though it can look quite cool.

I suspect it would add quite a lot to the database size and therefore performance might be affected, so Dave might not be too keen. But I'm second guessing!

Let's see if Dave pitches in here....

I'll consider it. There have been a couple of reasons raised for storing the exact frequency. It might be worth it. Maybe an incentive for Silver membership or something

UPDATE: We now capture Frequency.

Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

Thanks for capturing... any chance we could specify in our profile if we would like that printed on the EQSL? We always have to remember at present to put frequency in the comment field for use with the Geratol net as Frequency to 4 places is required. Just a thought... 73' Steve, AA1ZQ
