On 31Jan at 00:40 I had a qso with KD6IL. I uploaded the contact as KD6IL/QRP. I checked my inbox and had a qsl from KD6IL, and it had the reject and manual accept symbols, indicating I had not loaded up the qso. I went to my outbox, and edited the entry callsign to KD6IL, removing the /QRP and saved it. I went back to my inbox, and the KD6IL entry was gone. I went back to my outbox, and the KD6IL entry shows as a non-member (notify option), and greyed out.
Guess I managed to break your system -- sorry. Can this be finger-whipped to get things back to normal?? Regards, Jim, K5JAZ

My experience is that having viewed a card in your Inbox, once you leave it to do something else, the contact will be archived whether you command it or not. Did you look in your archive to see if it's there? -- Doug
What?!? You're still killing trees and wasting time and money sending QSL cards via Snail Mail? Whatever for? Go Unpostal!

Bummer!
Because the problem has changed from what you originally posted, I suggest starting a new thread about the inbox entry being deleted by the system without being commanded to do that. That might more easily get the attention of the admins and/or moderators.
Good luck es 73, Doug, W5DET

This problem is probably caused by KD6IL having an incorrect Callsign/QTH ENDing date set to 12/31/2010, which was the system's default value until recently.
Normally, You may open an email window to your QSO partner by going to your OutBox/InBox/Archive Box and clicking on the underlined callsign of your QSO partner.
I am not certain that this will work with the KD6IL, but give it a try. Ask KD6IL to reset his ENDing date at his MyProfile screen page. WA2RSX Vince
