I recently received a Eqsl from a SWL from Germany and i was very happy to receive it,it made me realise it's not just us radio Amateurs that use the HF bands. It took me back to the mid 1980's when i was a SWL little did i know then that in 1990 i would have my full uk licence. Truth be told i was very happy i kind of got a kick out of it. 73 Joe G0OJG

I am very happy to see people on here who have no problem sending a eQSL to a SWL. I have been a keen SWL for many years but only recently found eQSL, I joined about a week ago and have sent out about 12 eQSL's to SSTV operators in Europe and only received 4 back. I find this very disappointing and can only assume that some ham operators are not interested in receiving qsl contacts from SWL's . I would be interested in any comments here.

A 33% return rate is not too bad if you just sent them out a week ago.
To generate a return eQSL to an SWL requires that the user log into the system and manually confirm the eQSL you sent him, it's not like uploading ADIF files to confirm QSOs with other Hams which doesn't require logging into the system. Lots of users don't log onto the site on a regular basis, might take some time for them to login and see the eQSL from you in their inbox.
I think you will find you get a reasonable return rate, just need to be patient :)

Hello everyone, I'm new around here, though old in the SWL, I like to confirm contact, I like the DX, Expeditions, the contests, I have nearly 300 countries confirmed on SSB and CW over 200 with traditional qsl's cards, but this system I'm excited now, I hope to get some eQSL of you. 73 to all de Jorge WA4166SWL Jorge Rodriguez
