Hi folks,
For an attractive addition to any shack.
I found an old unused electronic picture frame and saved all my eQSls to an SD
card for the frame.

I now have a slide show of all my eQSl cards to show vistors!!

You could scan your paper QSL cards into digital format to display those too.
You might also use this idea for clubs that want a quick display for the public.
Maybe add a few text screens between the cards to explain what is being shown.

Hi Andy:
I too have a electronic picture frame that I would like to use to display eQSL cards.
It has a slot for an SD card and also a USB port.
If possible, I would like to do a direct transfer from eQSL to the picture frame via USB.
What format do you use to do the transfer to the SD card. Do you think I could do
a direct transfer via USB?
Thanks and 73's.

Hi Philip,
At first I used jpg, and I saved them to my hard disk, but now the cards are provided in png format and may require converting to jpg depending on your electronic picture frame. I havn't tried png with my frame yet. I think you would need to save them all to your drive or card before trying a usb transfer.

You can change that in your user profile, go to "Advanced Features" and you will see a checkbox, "eQSL Display Format".

I visited the forum after having the bright idea of putting my EQSLs on an electronic picture frame, only to find (not surprisingly!) that you guys are way ahead of me. The difference is: you have actually done it and I'm not sure how to start.
For a dunce like me can you provide a basic step by step to get the cards from EQSL and onto an SD card? I am not completely computer illiterate, but a leg-up would certainly help!
I am pretty sure I have an (unused as yet) USB SD card interface somewhere.
