hi,
I am a SWL beginner. I just have logged (manually) my first eqsl ( the first callsign i can understand...) using eqsl.cc, I find that it is possible to upload ADIF files. What software do you use to register your log and generate the right file ?

Thank you

Patrick

Patrick,
If you search the web you can find many free loggers that can send ADIF files to eQSL. In your OutBox there is a link that shows which loggers send ADIF to eQSL.

http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/ADIFLoggerInfo.cfm

I use Amateur Contact Log (ACLog) from www.n3fjp.com It costs a few dollars, but I find it is worth the cost.

73 and good luck!

hi !
I have improved my SWLing...Now I have several QSO registered (about 2 hundreds).

First , i tried bblogger, but had problems with the database, solved now. recently, a Ham spoke me about Hamradiodeluxe, the free release, for SWL; and it connect to my Icom R75 (that works) and may be my kenwood R5000
and another one spoke about log4OM..
I will try the two last, and say what seems more convenient for my SWl usage.

Bye
Patrick

just a note for SWL reports / QSL-cards:

some new user use the comment line which does not show up on the card and they do not get QSL back , remember you have to use the line called QSL message for informaton about the QSO partner .

I first used HamRadioDeluxe ( the old free version No. 5 ) but had to find out that i got me some wrong entries concerning countries as well as ITU/CQ zones which got me in trouble a bit by the award system of EPC , in case you become a memer of EPC and their award programme . may be this is only a problem by the old free version , never bought the commercial version nowadays available. Therefore I changed the logging programme to Log4OM .

good luck and fun with ham radio
