I can upload from my n3fjp log and go into eqsl a few days later and the eqsl's are there but i have to manually create a reply eqsl,They do not automatically merge if they match? or is there a perameter adjustment that's not right.

If you need to manually confirm his eQSL that means it does not match an entry in your outbox. Carefully compare the eQSL he sent you with the one in your outbox, check for correct band, mode, date, and time (+/- 60 minutes)
