I would like to make monthly payments to obtain a platinum membership, but am afraid that before I reach $200 the early payments would wear off, so to speak. Even making just $5 a month would put me in bronze and silver level in half the time, but I am not sure if they will still add up when I eventually reach the $200.00 goal.

No time limit, it is the total amount of donations, once they have reached $200 you will be Platinum.
