Hi, i tried searching for IOTA but found nothing in English.
Can we use our eQsl cards for IOTA awards or do we have to try to get hard copy QSL cards?

Barry,
First, I think you would have to contact the people who give the IOTA award(s) to see if they accept eQSLs.
Second, I don't think there is a place on the eQSL ADIF file format for listing IOTA unless you do it in the comments line.
However, I suppose that if the eQSL that you get has an IOTA number on it (from the profile section) and that is where you made the contact, that should work.

If you download the pdf of the IOTA rules available there you will see:

"C4.5 Photocopies of QSL cards and electronic cards (eQSLs) are not acceptable for credit."

And as stated all QSLs for IOTA must contain both the IOTA reference and island name.

Thanks for the info Dave. I take it that these people (rsqbiota.org) are the official IOTA board that started it all? They do a great job from what I see on the web site. So I guess they don't accept LOTW confirmations either. Oh well, there go all my chances.
Maybe eQSL could start an eISLE award. Just kidding!
