Hi I have worked E44 which is in the ARRL list call but in my complete log doesn't show the country - could you put it in please. See http://www.arrl.org/international-call-sign-series

Hi How do I get past this please
"You do not currently qualify for any eAwards. You need:
To have the eAward Block removed from your account "

We in the UK by the way our callsigns are organised need quite a lot My call can be G0CER, GM0CER, GW0CER, GI0CER also G0CER/M G0CER/P G0CER/A and all the above variations can have the /M /A /P For historical calls there are even more GQ0CER, GV0CER and other special prefixes.
I know its way too far down the line to change but if an account were to be separated into:
- Country Pre prefix - a country I may visit under CEPT rules [W4/G0CER for example]) - prefixes (in my case potential ones are G, GW, GM, GI... etc) - suffix My call 0CER that doesn't change - extensions /p /m /a .... etc (& RV ) - Post country add-on Where required say G0CER/W4
My account could be just one then, with programming separating what QSO join up with what unified call I was using. (as long as I told it!).

I would like to see a service so I can order copies of my eQSLsand the server will zip up the files when there is lower activity and dschedule to email them to me? Is this a good way to do it -so not too much load on server?

Hows about thinking sideways on this - could the auto-generated qsl card graphic be attached to the email sent to inform you of an incoming eQSL (possibly only ones that are confirmed) or when they are confirmed. I can see this loading the servers somewhat around the end of a big contest though.
It would be a case of 'save as' from the email to drop the eqsl graphic into a directory of your choice then.
For those who wonder why people download eQSLs...
I have one of the electronic picture frames loaded with a set of eQSLs downloaded some long time ago which: - Makes a nice reminderof qsos at the time - is often commented on by visitors - could be set as a slideshow wallpaper for a pc (Linux, Mac (i think) and later versions of Windows) - could be used to demonstrate eQSL in a radio club / demo

In VHF & up contests, stations locators are part of the exchange and it appears in the ADIF uploaded (in my case RSGB contests). Would it be pssible for eQSL system to record and show the locator by extracting it from the <GRIDSQUARE> data in the ADIF files and show it in the eqsl log. Perhaps eQSL could create mapping outputs or even add it to the propagation tool?
Here is a recent record from a contest log.
<QSO_DATE:8>20111227<TIME_ON:4>2116<BAND:2>6m<MODE:3>SSB<CALL:5>M0GVG<RST_SENT:2>59<STX:1>1<RST_RCVD:2>57<SRX:3>054<GRIDSQUARE:6>IO83XG<TX_PWR:2>50<OPERATOR:5>G0CER<QSO_PTS:2>54<QSO_COMPL:3>YES<EOR>
Perhaps even have eQSL record every field contents and let users define what they want to see using a config system in the HTML?
The reason I ask this is it would make using eQSL is a core-logbook system for oneself.
Good luck all in 2012! Dave H G0CER

your about half-way there Andy :-) Yes but I go to these places and don't often stop at the same place which the account is registered for - so for GW0CER I may be in IO83** or IO73** and variations within each one, the UK is a small place. Camp-sites and holiday places vary a lot - I've >10 accounts already so this could get silly
Thanks for replying again :) Dave

Hi Andy Sorry I think I should have referred to it as the QRA locator - the otherwise known as 'Maidenhead' system. My home QTH is IO82RV if I'm out portable or on holdiay my locator might change, but keeping the same callsign.
My example of holiday QTHs might be as GM0CER I have been using it at a variety of locations but the eQSL seems to assume I'm only having one - If I could control say, between certain dates my locator was one and between set dates another, but as a general setting (eg the regualr one) to be the default locator.
Hope I'm being a bit less confusing now :) Dave

I hope I can give you some points from EU-005 in the contest.
- I'd really like to be able to have a parallel eIOTA contest or eISLE - live uploading would light up the maps to show what islands are on the air.

I wonder what the general view is of what would be defined as a QSO in WSPR mode for the requirements of an eQSL or QSL interchange?
Talking to a few people here are the variety of views: - "having seen each other within 10mins" - "having seen each other within 60mins" - "It's a propagation checking mode they're not QSOs" - "Its just two one-way transmisions, because replies are announcements to all via the net "
I've not made my mind up yet, but I've recently received some eQSLs in WSPR mode which has focussed the mind a little.

Apparently its part of the ADIF spec now.

I was entering, by hand, a set of qsos from a short contest and never noticed the date move from the 2nd t (when the contest was) to today the 6th. So a few of my entries were dated wrong - I went back strainght away and re-editted them to put the date right but when I do a seatch all the entries still say the sixrth even though when I click eidt it shows the 2nd. curious.. any ideas? Thanks DaveH G0CER

This didn't turn out to be a problem.
The snail mail settings are independent of the individual callsigns editted on this page http://eqsl.cc/qslcard/PostageAccount.cfm

Hi Andy - Seasons Greetings you and all.
I created an account for my new QTH (a new place but in the same county and country). I have put the new address in my latest one only - the problem still remains that if I try to get an old card mailed it seems to be stuck in the address I was at the time. Whiel, I have a years snail mail re-direct it seems a weakness that older mailed cards go to an address uinlikely to be current.
I'd be thankful if someone at eQSL could do a once-over check of my settings please.

I have changed my mailing address on everything I can find in all the attached accounts (OK I need to follow the procedure for dates old / dates new address but when I clicked on a nice contact on 6m with a HA1 station to have a printed QSL card posted to me - the address was my old address? Any ideas? (I've got plenty of credit for the cards).

Now there's an offer! - if only I were retired.
How about asking for a team of say 10 volunteers - co-ordinated in a forum in this system?

Andy I understand this problem - I do occasional portable contests (with only paper logs) and have to input 10 - 50 or more loggings depending on the contest, I tried putting this into a log then uploading but log software is so 'clever' these days it fights you to insist on putting the current time (it would of course!). Manual input onto the eQSL QSO form also makes it easy to make mistakes. I've asked about having the last few inputted QSOs to feedback what I've done already.
I think this and the original posting problem may require some serious web 2 type interfaces which talk to the eQSL database without reloading the page. That I guess would be a major update to the site.
