Are Special Event stations allowed to get AG? I recently worked K7E owned by W7EB. W7EB is AG, but he tells me that eQSL will not allow AG for his Special Event call. Here is a copy of his email to me after I sent him the standard AG request:
"I'm sorry too, it is e-qsl's problem. They will not put the Guaranteed on a special event station for some crazy reason. I was the operator and the license holder of K7E and my call is W7EB. So I guess you can have a talk with them because I gave up with the e-mails back and forth and got NO nothing out of all the e-mails. 73, Elliott-W7EB / K7E"
Is there a special reason for this? 73 Andy - n1ork

Thanks Darin, Maybe the other station's licence was a one time thing? 200 year anniversary of Las Vegas or something like that. Are your special event licences repetitive? Do you use them more than once like a yearly event that repeats every year? Don't know why K7E can't get AG'd. 73

2 of my special calls are prefix changes authorized by Industry Canada. VE3MOON was a special call obtained separately. They're all attached to my account, and the AG follows with my account, as does Gold status.
The prefix-change calls pop up from time to time, but it's unlikely I'll be using VE3MOON again for 10 years.
I would suggest K7E attach to an AG account, it should spread over. I recall having to send off an email the first time in which I offered proof of the special call being assigned to me.
