In the signal report, when I respond to an SWL report, I write in SWL instead of a numeric value.

Although the statement "I do not QSL" when taken at face value, simply means that they do not confirm whatever you sent them. They may well do QSL-ing in general, but can't confirm the info you sent them.
I have to send those kinds of "yeah, no." messages nearly every time I log into eQSL.

Look at the number of votes on the lowest ranking card on the page, and add 1.
I think there is a minimum of 10 though.

I accidentally clicked "Reject all" on a user, but I don't want to reject all. Will this affect future QSL? what about past QSL from this user?
Can I undo this action?

Never mind, I think I found out the answer.

Can we please get the "Mark all forums read" button added into the forums. Every forum software I've seen has it, and not having it here is quite frustrating.
I don't want to have to click in every single forum to clear the new messages, that just wastes my time and increases server and network load at the eQSL.cc end for nothing.

Believe me, with the postal service in Canada, it's much more like a donation for the service of a half-motivated volunteer.
Yeah, I only check here every few months. I probably should look more :)
I don't know how desperate I'd have to be to succumb to "you must pay me or I won't confirm your contact"... I tend to get pretty spiteful when presented with an ultimatum.

I always write SWL in the report field.

I'm not sure how eQSL has anything to do with any particular user saying "pay me money or I won't confirm you."
Similarly, just because you've donated to maintain the eQSL service, that has no bearing on the individual actions of any eQSL user.
I donate to the postal service every time I send a paper card, but that doesn't obligate the person at the other end to respond.
Is eQSL forcing this payment?

Are you sure your clock is set properly? You may be operating in UTC but your time need not be correct. If 80% of your contacts have the wrong time, it strikes me that the problem may be at your end.
If the whole world is wrong except you...

I created an attached account for a special event call, but I can't remember or forgot to set the nickname. Is there a way I can see/set the nickname after creation? I've already uploaded some contacts, and I know accounts can't easily be deleted, so creating again with a known nickname will be a major hassle.

I confirm SWL happily if they have the details AND the QSO wasn't spotted on a DX cluster that I monitor.
Anyone can copy info from a DX cluster, and yes, I have received SWL reports from stuff that didn't happen but got put on a cluster.

When I confirm a SWL report here, I write "SWL" in the signal report field, so if it syncs back to my log, I can identify it immediately.

The best rate of return for eQSL is from digital modes users, then from people who log via computer. Least likely are the manual loggers, CW and Phone users.
My guess is that it's a matter of convenience... if you already have the logs going into a computer, it's easy to put htem here.

I have a lot of callsigns for various reasons. On eQSL, it's easy to upload to any of them.
Getting LotW accounts for them would exceed my patience. These are QSO records, not nuclear secrets, so I can't really be bothered going through their security process... And I even do IT security for a living.
I have one LotW account that I got due to social pressure. For the rest, paper or eQSL.

There is an animated graphic eQSL logo that appears in the upper left on the Inbox page and others.
The Earth is rotating in the wrong direction in the image.
Yes, that is a really anal-retentive picky point, but really, we're all supposed to be knowledgeable techies ... we should probably have the planet rotating in the proper direction :)

I have uploaded logs from every version of HRD since v4.1 to the current commercial release, plus ADIF from Logger, Logger32, and Log4OM. Since I am 95% digital, my logs contain mostly 3-digit RSQ, or JT65-style negative numbers.
All have worked perfectly for 7 years. To me, it's one of the nice points about this site - never have an input problem that can't be traced to something at my end.

The QRZ.com log interface is Byzantine at best. Although my logs are complete there, I upload sporadically, and really make no special effort to keep them up to date... and I am a QRZ life member.
In that case, I wanted access to the other features of QRZ. I could live without the log part of it.
I treat LotW the same way... I upload when I get around to it, but it's a PITA that I only subject myself to when I'm in the mood.
For here, I've been a member for 7-ish years. I suspect many people get an account here and then find it difficult to use. When I watch my 75 year old father-in-law, who is an educated man, dealing with a laptop and a web site, then translate that over to a 75 year old ham who does morse code only on a transceiver older than me and has a computer that was set up by a grandchild so grampa can access facebook, I can imagine lots of accounts getting created, visited once or twice, then forgotten or ignored as "too much hassle".
There's another bunch (search around the forums, you can find them) who feel that AG violates their personal space in some way, or get in a snit when they find out that ARRL won't accept eQSL and blame eQSL for that - they create an account, then leave.
I like eQSL because for me, it's largely automatic. But I understand why other people don't.
