Morning folks, not sure if anyone reads these forums from eQSL these days, it doesn't seem that way, but the following is my thoughts on a couple of new awards:
Currently there are eDX100 awards for mixed, psk, ssb, and cw, with mixed being all digital modes plus ssb and cw.
I am a digital only station here, haven't been on phone in five years and don't have any eQSL's for phone QSO's. I am very close to getting my eDX100 mixed however, five more to go. These QSO's are all digital, mostly a combination of PSK and RTTY.
I would like to see two new awards, eDX100 (Digital) and eDX100 (RTTY).
The digital award makes more sense for me than the mixed as I only work digital, and I know there are other stations out there like me. Plus it would give people who already have eDX100 (mixed) but with some SSB and/or CW QSO's in there something else to work towards.
The eDX100 (RTTY) makes sense as RTTY is the most popular digital mode after PSK, plus it is the digital mode of choice of most DXPeditions. Also many contests happen during the year using RTTY. Having an award available for RTTY could get more of the DXPeditions interested in uploading their logs to eQSL, and could also get more of the old time RTTY guys interested in eQSL in the first place.
My $.02 for what it's worth :)

And I don't believe you BTW :) What I meant was that it seems that no one in the eQSL organization seems to read the forum posts anymore. :) VA3KAB David Bell

Actually, I have to agree with ya because their are a few QSL card related posts that could easily be addressed or at least responded with something to reinforce the QSL (resolution) issues raised. Poor N1OR seems to be stuck with responding to all posts. IMHO - The only one consistantly reading the posts are N1OR. Thanks for the comments Frank! (The call is N1ORK) I believe eQSL is a great service to the Ham community, It would be nice if more hams would realize this and join up. I am in no way one of the monitors or Admins of this forum, but I enjoy reading the posts and try to help where and whenever I can. I've also used the Bing translator to help out some of the foreign Hams. I just hope the translator program worked ok. Hi Hi! Although eQSL can be a little complicated for some newcomers it is not nearly as complicated as LOTW (which I also use). Also thanks to Darin, Frank, Doug and Manfred for thier inputs! 73 Andy - n1ork
