I have gotten Qsl cards for satellites that were not maked as such in the Special Propagation Mode. We need to start doing this so that it will be easy to seperate out the Satellite contact grids form the VHF and UHF terestral grids. Also I note in the comment section the bird the contact was made on.

Brock is 100% correct. We are trying to launch the satellite award but so many logs are not right. If you make a satellite contact, please use the correct mode of contact under the BAND column. If you work AO-51 in J mode, please put it in as that, not a 2 meter contact. This does not let the system put the contact in the correct place. If you select a Mode (J,B,L and so on) everything will come out right. Also, if you have satellite contacts already in the database, please make sure that they are correct. Thanks. Rob KB2YCC

Found your other post Bill, That was basically my question. What mode do you use for VO-52 ssb? I know it's 70cm up and 2m down, but for the manual log input it gives stuff like SAT B, etc. I'm not sure which one to use. I didn't make the contacts, so I'm unfamiliar with satellite jargon. I'm just trying to input the logs into eQSL and I want to do it right. 73 Andy - n1ork for W1BRS

U/v is formerly mode B
V/u is formerly mode J
VO-52 is "Mode B", although really eQSL should be updated with the proper, modern terminology.

Hello ..., I have done some QSO on AO-40 for this but AO-27 is displayed. I can not change it to AO-40 because the fashion US - 70cm / 13cm or LS - 23cm / 13cm is not in the table. HW? With manual entry.

What code is used for a normal qso on a "FM satellite", e.g. SO-50, AO-91, AO-27
