I wonder what the general view is of what would be defined as a QSO in WSPR mode for the requirements of an eQSL or QSL interchange?

Talking to a few people here are the variety of views:
- "having seen each other within 10mins"
- "having seen each other within 60mins"
- "It's a propagation checking mode they're not QSOs"
- "Its just two one-way transmisions, because replies are announcements to all via the net "

I've not made my mind up yet, but I've recently received some eQSLs in WSPR mode which has focussed the mind a little.

Well, they probably count WSPR QSO mode, which is a full two-way contact. That would make sense, although good luck getting an WSPR QSO this way.

Personally, I consider hearing a simple WSPR beacon to be an SWL contact. If it's not QSO mode, it's just short wave listening.

For WSPR, I fill out the QSL card as a SWL signal report.

This is a bit tricky to send with eQSL, as the site assumes that all your cards are two-way if your profile indicates you're licensed. (It would be nice if web form for logging a QSO had a check box for whether it was one-way or two-way).
