Hello All.
I use mainly digital but lately have been experimenting, and enjoying JT65. In JT65 HF program, under config's there an option to check mark E-QSL but I'm not quite sure what this does. I was hoping it sends a command to E-QSL getting it to automatically send a card to the contact but unfortunately on checking my outward E-QSL nothing has been entered (I've had 4 contacts).
Can anyone tell me please does JT65 HF, when configured correctly, send a command asking E-QSL to send a card. If not then why is it in the JT65 HF program.
Jim

Just answered this over in the support queue.
Maybe someone here that uses JT65HF and can give a definitive answer. My answer was:
I don't use that program so can't tell you for sure, but if JT65HF has the ability to upload directly to eQSL, look for a section within JT65HF where you can configure your eQSL settings. In order for any program to auto-upload to eQSL, the program needs to know your eQSL username (your callsign) and your password, so the program should have a place where you can add that information.
I use a program called WSJT-X for JT65, it is nice because it also does JT9. WSJT-X does not have the ability to auto-upload to eQSL, but there is a companion program called JTAlertX that, among other things, uploads QSOs made by WSJT-X to eQSL.

Hello Dave.
I appreciate what you have written. Unfortunately JTALERTX will not load into W10, well mine anyway.
Has anyone actually loaded JTALERTX into a 64bit W10 computer?

I have JTAlert working on Windows 10 64-bit with WSJT-x 1.6.0-rc2. Works great.
I use it to connect to DXKeeper to log contacts and DXKeeper uploads to eQSL. Start DXKeeper and WSJT-x once both are up and running start JTAlert.
Once a day or every couple of days ensure you have JTAlert scan your logs for up-to-date information.
Also, ensure you update JTAlert with the latest upgrade, latest sound files and database files to show eQSL and LotW status of those you are contacting.

I use JT65-HF HB9HQX edition. If you go to configure, then select "pause and open configuration window", select the internet tab.
From there you can set up the software to automatically upload to eQSL, HRDLog.net and Clublog. Just enter your username and password for each account and put a tick in the boxes marked activate upload. When you are finished, select save settings and close.
Now, any time you work a station and click on the log QSO button, it will automatically send the contact to the services that you setup above.

Yes Sir, JTALERT 2.9.10 installs into a 64bit W10 comp and links flawlessly to WSJT-X 1.8.0. Both are the latest software ver.
