Hello all, Having noted 280 some cards sitting on this site, I included a note on snail mail QSL card I sent to Fred. It seams that he has so much traffic that it would require him to have a manager on eQSL in order to handle e-cards. I don't know if anyone is interested, perhaps if they are they can contact Fred about it. His email address on QRZ.com seams to be defunct. Well I guess thats enough said. 73' , Bill Darling WA6ICY

Bill,
I don't understand your comment. The beauty of systems like eQSL and LOTW is they require very little attention once set up. All the op has to do is periodically upload his log to the system. That's it! And that requires almost the same effort whether your log contains 100 contacts or 5000 contacts. The systems do the matching of QSOs to produce QSLs. Surely any op can learn how to upload their logs, say, once a month? No QSL manager is required since there really isn't any work to do unless the op himself is interested in applying for an award on the system in question.
After a big contest, the very next day, I see major stations in the contest have uploaded their logs. Just takes a few minutes.

My logging program (HRD) uploads the eQSL info automatically after I log a contact. No extra steps necessary. If you're logging in real time, as you're making contacts, it uploads the eQSL info as soon as you hit 'ENTER' to finish entering the contact.

My log also automatically uploads to eQSL. Occasionally it will "miss" uploading a QSO. I haven't figured out why, but I do check and manually upload those missed. If you rely on automatic uploading, you might spot check to make sure they all make the trip. 73, Jack

If the guy logs on paper, then yes, he might need a manager to handle eQSL. I run a museum amateur radio station that still logs on paper, and we do eQSL, but basically only by hand.
That's changing, slowly, but I can understand how 1 guy logging on paper but making hundreds or thousands of contacts might not want to be bothered with eQSL.
