EA9LZ have 3594 eQSL cards waiting to be retrieved, but he logged in since 16 days.
I think he forget to update his log or he will not...??? Or i did'nt understand this system.

It's too bad Manfred. It would be nice if all users of eQSL would upload their logs. Maybe he forgot that he is a member, or he lost his internet connection? Has he been logged in for 16 days or he logged in 16 days ago? Maybe he has to input his log in manually? He seems to be a rare country (I never heard of it - CEUTA AND MELILLA) so people must be anxious for his confirming eQSLs.

Manfred,
Ich nicht verstehen. Please forgive my German, but I don't understand what you are trying to say. I understand that EA9LZ has many cards waiting and unless he uploads his logs, all these QSOs will remain unanswered and unconfirmed. The only thing we can do is send him emails (ea9lz at hotmail.com) asking that he upload his log and confirm the QSOs. Do you have another idea?

Indeed I don't know what you are trying to say. Maybe he is not an active eQSL user, simply popping in now and again to see what it is all about. Maybe he set up his account just recently and not got round to uploading his log. Maybe when he saw there were loads of cards waiting he decided not to bother with eQSL at all. Or maybe he has gone on holiday, away on business or whatever.

Remember that 16 days is a very short time for many amateurs and they maybe only visit here once a year. I guess he has loads of other things to do. Many on here seem to think they have a duty to amateur radio to visit eQSL and upload their cards every single day.

A quick Google will show that EA9LZ is an active contester and actually has a QSL manager, IK3QAR. Maybe you should ask him what his attitude to eQSL is.

Hi,

I just asked EA9LZ an EQSL confirmation and he replied yesterday that HE HAD NEVER CREATED an account himself
but was willing to start using EQSL provided he received some help...it was not his priority

So we have exchanged a few mails, he sent me a confirmation for a qso and seemed ready to scan his licence and send it ===> shortly "AG" ???

He's using Swisslog, has never uploaded anything, so I sent him a short tutorial. The 3665 list should get shorter in a little while...he has a 30.000 qso's in swisslog and the same number in his paper logs....hi

one last word....

This morning, 07h18 GMT, Jorge EA9LZ had uploaded 11.000 qso. I have advised him to filter his log by date and send just a few thousand qso's at one and the same time, in background mode.
But I don't know how he did exactly...

.................

18/05/2008 17h00Z, 28505 qso's uploaded so the rest is either :
- not in the log or
- old qso's in the paper logs

He's a LOTW user, though he did not use it since june 2006, it should not be hard to get "AG"

19/05/2008 18h44 "AG" pending !
20/05/2008 11h37 no EQSL waiting !
21/05/2008 AG and silver member !

Jorge is a top contester, he never had a QSL-manager (EA7JB = false information), does not have a bureau (only direct for paper qsl) and answering qsl's is not his priority...hi
Asked me infos about LOTW, perhaps you'll have your DXCC credit

Looks like EA9LZ did a great job in clearing all those QSL's from his inbox.

How can you see when an op has last checked into this site. I can see another op's inbox and many of then have loads of cards waiting there. I guess these are op's who don't use this site despite setting up an account but I cannot see where it displays the last time that the op has checked in.

thanks Mark N1UK G3ZZM
