I think this is a great idea, it would certainly put eQSL.cc on the map. Thanks
Thank you Carlos. 73 Lewis
Thank you Dave for that. On a different note, i am also awaiting approval for membership on the Yahoo group OnlineQS, 2 great services. Thank you Dave. 73 Lewis ve3kko
John, I agree. I dont like waiting for a week to check into a net. I think that members should be able to have an inpromptu net but follow certain guidelines and if not, why? I think that this is another way to promote eQSL.cc. Is there a preamble that is used? What style of net do we have now? I ask because until now, i have not able to be here for the net on 14.238.00. Thanks Lewis
Sounds good. I think the omiss net comes on there somewhere too. We will have to watch for that. I have a sked every night at 23:45 gmt which last for about 15 minutes and one on Monday nights at 23:15 gmt. Lets get the word out about the frequency and to use it. Thanks Andy 73 Lewis Edited by VE3KKO Lewis Lambert on May 5, 2009 at 07:34 PM
Hi, what about having a frequency which would be recognized by members for the purpose of a quick contact or an on air sked or a place to just call out cq eqsl. We could promote 14.238.00 as the frequency to use for more than just nets. Then have one on 40 meters and 75/80. Something could be put somewhere on the eQSL.cc website. Input is always appreciated. Thanks 73 Lewis ve3kko
Hi, It would be nice to have a callsign lookup within the different rooms i.e. the sked room etc. It would be handy to be able to look up a callsign of a ham without leaving the room.
Thanks Lewis

I always send sqsl's to the everyone i "work" during the "Canada day contest" and other contests that i participate in, in in an effort to promote eQSL.cc. I see a a lot of eQSL cards being sent on the psk-31 screen so i think the word is getting out. I like to promote eQSL on our local vhf nets too.

I guess if a person wants to post when and where they plan to be, they should post a day before their planned sked, where should we post? If a thread was started, there should be a way for that person to delete the post after it expires. Any thought? Thanks for this great forum, i appreciate it Lewis Edited by VE3KKO Lewis Lambert on Apr 27, 2009 at 03:02 AM Edited by VE3KKO Lewis Lambert on Apr 27, 2009 at 03:04 AM
Hi, I triedto make out an eqsl card for an echolink contact but in the drop down box for mode, there is no catagory for echolink so in the special mode (i think its called), thats where i found echolink. What do i select under the band drop down box? Thanks Lewis

I have found a Yahoo group called OnlineQSL which i tried to join but i have found that the light is on but there is nobody home! In other words, i cannot join. Maybe the group has been abandoned. Any thoughts? Thanks Lewis

Dont forget that in order for you be eligible for some awards, you will have to be a financial contributer along with the AG (any amount for the Bronze level). At least get your AG, It's free and one thing that i found was that as soon as i became AG, i was getting sked requests like never before. That can a lot of fun. 73 Lewis

VERY WELL PUT! I have recently started seeking the U.S. states and and the support that i have received has been great. The people who frequent this system have been the absolute best. The answers for sked requests and their perserverance is outstanding! I have a long way to go but its coming. I am enjoying eQSL.cc big time! I have a link on my Yahoo! group. I guess i can post it here, it is:

Good question! Not just that, why cant we choose more than one mode per band Here's one, why isnt it (60m) available to Canada? Its like having an am/fm radio, you can listen to it but you cant talk on it

Because Gary, some of us are on dial up and cannot sit and watch the inbox for a reply all day. I have chosen to monitor 3.817.00 as often as i can. I would love to hear you and others on the frequency and make a contact, I need a number of U.S. states so if you and others are free, stop by and warm the airwaves up! 73 Lewis
